YAMPA RIVER LEAFY SPURGE PROJECT
GIS Data
The Yampa River Leafy Spurge Project (YRLSP) engages landowners, agencies, educators and organizations—working together to establish effective programs of integrated management for invasive leafy spurge. As part of this mission, we offer our datasets for public download. Datasets are available in both the traditional ESRI shapefile (SHP) format and the Google-Earth-friendly KMZ format. Click on the appropriate link to download the format you prefer.
Guides to the data fields for the Biological Control Releases, Biological Control Monitoring, and YRLSP Spurge Mapping datasets are already included in the zipped download packages. If you just want the guides alone, they can be downloaded individually from the bottom of this page, HERE.
The Biological Control Monitoring and YRLSP Spurge Mapping datasets also have large collections of associated photographs (routinely taken as part of the monitoring/mapping protocols). The individual photo filenames in each of these collections will key to the photo data fields in their respective datasets. Because of the large file size of these collections they have been packaged as separate downloads.
If you have any GIS-Data-related questions or requests, E-Mail Peter Williams.
All datasets listed on this page are now current through November 2024.
There are no restrictions on the use of these datasets, but please credit datasets downloaded from this page as indicated below.
